Thank You

Our first five years of existence were very bumpy, and we  wouldn’t be around today without the support, services and encouragement of the following:

Lawyers Alliance for New York, Brooklyn Legal Services Corp A.  and their cadre of pro-bono legal contacts for  their excellent legal service and guidance.

The firm of Morton Berger, CPA, PC for the provision of accounting services.

Thaddeus Whitley (deceased) of Whitley Design Associates,  for his persistence, guidance, architectural design and advice.

Project Manager, Jaquetta Treece (retired), for her love,  guidance, wisdom, support, and level headed determination to help get us off  the ground and the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) for its generosity and funding.

Construction Manager, John Arhangelsky of the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) for teaching us much more than we ever wanted to know about the construction industry.

The NYC  Human Resources Administration, the staff of the Office  of Domestic Violence and Emergency Intervention Services (ODVEIS) for their  generosity and guidance.

AAPCI Board Chair Emeritus, Bernadette Parker, for her leadership.  The intrepid Board of Directors for their commitment to AAPCI (past and present), and the staff of AAPCI who make coming to work daily very rewarding.

Cafe Urban, for providing AAPCI with technical support and a web presence.
