Every now and then, we cross paths with people in life with whom we develop an immediate connection. Renee Steedley was one such individual. A Contract Manager with the NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS). 

Renee Steedley was also a wife, a mother, a daughter, a survivor of domestic violence, and a dear friend. Renee was a strong advocate for the homeless and a supporter of all AAPCI (African American Planning Commission, Inc.) endeavors. She was always bright eyed and bushy tailed – a beautiful soul with a warm smile and a big hug for anyone who needed it.

We all miss you Renee.
