Matthew Okebiyi
Executive Director & CEO

Matthew Okebiyi currently serves as the Executive Director & CEO of African American Planning Commission, Inc., (AAPCI). He founded AAPCI in 1996 as a New York City-based 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization. 

At AAPCI, we are committed to helping the most vulnerable members of society. Our programs are designed to support people experiencing homelessness due to the related issues of domestic violence, chronic medical issues such as HIV/AIDS, mental health disorders, and long histories of substance abuse. We aim to provide our clients with access to stable affordable and supportive housing, access to healthcare, and job opportunities. Our team works tirelessly to ensure that everyone we help has the resources they need to thrive and succeed.
