Lisa Diaz Louis is a social impact leader and community engagement strategist dedicated to expanding opportunities for underserved communities.

With 15 years of experience working within NYC’s foster care and shelter systems, I have seen firsthand the lack of opportunities afforded to my clients. I am a leader who is grounded in the belief that community centered spaces and programs have the power to transform lives by granting access and opportunity in support of a healthy well-being. I’ve held leadership roles across sectors, most recently at Carnegie Hall, where I led initiatives to create career pathways between young people and executives in the music industry. I hold a Master’s in Museum Studies. My work bridges the worlds of arts, education, and social justice, helping to inspire communities and cultivate the next generation– this is a blend of my two passions of advocacy and the arts. Throughout my career, I have led programs that center historically underrepresented communities here in NYC.

I’m a Brooklyn native;  I enjoy creating spaces that foster deep connections, culture and collective growth. You can find me enjoying walks around the city’s beautiful parks and gardens, visiting museums and art galleries, curled up to a good book, cheering on my favorite teams, and spending time with family and friends.
