How Do You Help Survivors of Domestic Violence

You Build Them Safe New Homes…

Studies by the U.S. Conference of Mayors and by the U.S. Justice Department indicate that permanent supportive housing is the best housing alternative for survivors of domestic violence. To accomplish this, the African American Planning Commission is soliciting funds from individuals like YOU to fund all initial capital development costs. We ask for your support to help build and/or rehabilitate supportive housing for survivors of domestic violence.

You can begin by making an online donation in any amount you wish ($10 minimum donation suggested). Click here to make a secure, tax-deductible Credit Card donation. It's fast, it's easy, and it's safe. All donations are processed through a secure server which protects your credit card information. Our secure credit card server is powered by Guidestar and setup by Network for Good. All personal and credit card information are protected and kept private.

If you are not comfortable sending your credit card information online but would like to make a tax-deductible financial donation which will help develop supportive housing for survivors of domestic violence, please click here to print and complete our Donation By Mail Form. You will need the free Acrobat Reader to view this document, if you do not already have it.

Be sure to enclose your check and please; never, send cash or currency through the mail. Contributions to the African American Planning Commission, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes. You will receive a receipt for your contribution in the mail.

On behalf of those who rely upon our services, we thank you for your generosity.
