Legislative Budget Proposals Set Stage for Final Negotiations
Providers and advocates are trying to get the various pieces of the State budget puzzle lined up after the Assembly and Senate passed one-house budget bills on Tuesday. The bills spell out legislative positions and priorities in response to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Executive Budget proposal and set the parameters for three-way negotiations leading up to finalization of a new budget due by April 1st.
